The last band for this year’s Hamburg Metal Dayz is no other than the Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity!
The Band was found as Septic Broiler in the late 80s and changed its name to Dark Tranquillity in 1990. Coming from thrash metal, the band developed the famous Gothenburg metal sound together with In Flames and At The Gates, which means they kick-started the melodic death metal itself.
In 2013, the band released its 10th studio album, called Construct, which confirmed the status of the band once more. We’re looking forward to welcome the band at Hamburg’s Markthalle this year!
