Ticket return insurance - information

In cooperation with our partner HanseMerkur Versicherung we recommend you take out insurance for ticket return when purchasing your tickets. The insurance will reimburse you for the cost of tickets purchased (excl. service and shipment fees) in the following cases:

• Unexpected and serious illness, death, accidental injury
• Pregnancy
• Fracture of prostheses or loosening of implanted joints
• Inoculation
• Unexpected appointment to donate organs or to receive an organ
• Termination and reinstatement after unemployment, short-time working
• Change of job, if the probationary period falls within the insured travel time
• Significant damage to the property (at least EUR 2,500) of the insured person as a result of fire, natural disasters, tap water damage or punishable acts of third parties
• Pupil / student protection: Repeat examination is included in the insured travel time or school change
• Unexpected legal charge
• Adoption of a minor child if your presence is necessary
• Transportation delay including ICE at least 2 hours

Ticket insurance fees depend on ticket prices and are calculated as follows:

1,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 50,00 EUR
3,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 100,00 EUR
6,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 150,00 EUR
14,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 300,00 EUR
19,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 500,00 EUR
29,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 750,00 EUR
34,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 1.000,00 EUR
59,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 1.500,00 EUR
99,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 2.000,00 EUR
119,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 3.000,00 EUR
139,90 EUR up to a ticket price of 3.500,00 EUR
