Wacken Open Air 2026 - The Anniversary

Theres something to celebrate in 2026: Wacken Open Air will be back for its 35th anniversary – and its going to be legendary! Were celebrating three decades and five years of metal and mayhem – from July 29th to August 1st, 2026. The first bands have been confirmed, and theres also some excitement regarding tickets. One things for sure: Its going to be epic – PARTY ON!

With Faster, Harder – and the brand new Louder – there are three ticket categories that will go on sale one after the other in that order.

No matter which ticket you choose, these services are always included:

Access to the entire festival from July 29th to August 1st, 2026
Camping from July 26th to August 2nd, 2026 (midday)
Access to all stages
Free bus shuttle from Itzehoe train station

The Faster tickets are limited to 10,000 and include a free special T-shirt. You can also purchase bundle T-shirts in all categories, including cool extras like buttons, stickers, or lanyards.
