Hear ye, hear ye! Weve received word from our beloved Wacken Winter Nights:
"Dear friends,
the time has come! The medieval fantasy-, folk and metal festival will celebrate its fourth edition in 2020 and the pre-sale of the limited Early Bird Tickets for 89€ (incl. fees plus shipment) has begun!
As soon as these are sold out the sale of the regular tickets for a price of 99€ (incl. fees plus shipment) will begin! As announced before every buyer will get the possibility to get a special reduced bundle shirt for just 14,99€!

Lets begin with Schandmaul. The band gave its debut WWN debut in 2018 and now they will return with their current album "Artus". Founded in 1998 the band has released 10 albums so far. 2 of them have already reached gold status and the band has since then als become an integral part of the German festival landscape. We are happy to have them here for the second time!
Corvus Corax - The next band, which also visits us for the second time is Corvus Corax - the kings of bards. After 25 years full of medieval music they can look back on countless albums und many different projects. The band combines historical music with fantasy elements, the do experiments with cultural sounds and crazy instruments. In 2018 the band visited us with their fantastical "Der Fluch Des Drachen" and will now return with a live set of their new album "Skald".
Primordial - The band has already reached cult status within the European metal scene years ago. With 9 albums and hundreds of live shows the band around frontman Alan Averill has cemented their status.The Irish Pagan Metal band will visit us for the first time at WWN and we are looking forward to their performance!
Einherjer – The Norwegians bring us Viking Metal at Its best! Einherjer will also be for the first time at Wacken Winter Nights and we are looking forward to experience their glorious battle hymns!
Metsatöll - With 8 albums from which the most current album „Katk Kutsariks“ was released in this year the Estonian Folk Metal band Metssatöll has gathered a huge fellowship across Europe and beyond. Now they will also join us for the first time at WWN!
Further we are happy to welcome 5 more bands to our ranks! Let`s welcome Lindy-Fay Hella (known from Wardruna), the British forest folk rocker Hexvessel,the German medieval rockers Reliquiae, the northmen of Baldrs Draumar as well as the Sibirian Mystic Folk Dou Nyttland. Excerpt for Reliquiae,which will join us for the second time all of these bands will give their Winter Nights debut!
But most and above it all we are looking forward to welcome you all back here in the next year!
